Graciosa is an island located in the northwestern tip of the Central Group and is the most northerly of the five that form the Central Group of the Azores archipelago, the closest island is São Jorge, 37 km away.
In 2019, Aventour Azores Adventures opened the first Coasteering route on Graciosa Island. We discovered the island with better natural conditions for the practice of Coasteering, in an environment surrounded by natural islets with its slopes cut by volcanic rock, a sea of clear waters and a landscape where wild nature is always present. We made several jumps (optional), crossed in small caves, swimming in the middle of small islets and snorkling.
The clients are monitored all the way by the Aventour guides and monitors, who will help in the implementation of techniques and of all safety procedures.
For this Coasteering activity on Graciosa Island, we left São Jorge Island with a return at the end of the activity. Sometimes on this trip the Nature offers us the view of whales and dolphins in the channel between the two islands.
We also organize the Coasteering activity on Graciosa Island included in a full day program with multi-activities (see the link below).
We can operate directly on Graciosa Island, for groups that are already on the island. Contact us before booking to check availability and prices.
